Kirana and general stores

A kirana counter needs speed. Add your products once with selling price, GST % and HSN, then make a bill by searching the name or scanning the barcode with the phone camera. Walk-in customers can be billed without a name. If a regular customer pays later, pick their name and the bill goes to their udhaar khata.

Medical stores and pharmacies

• Turn on batch tracking for a medicine and enter the batch number, mfg date and expiry date when you buy it.
• On a sale, BizBahi picks the batch that expires first, and it will not save a bill for an expired batch or for more quantity than the batch has.
• Batch, mfg and expiry are printed under the item name on A4/A5 and PDF invoices.
• The home screen shows batches that have expired or will expire within 30 days; the full expiry report with value is on paid plans.
• MRP can be saved on each product and shown on barcode labels.

Clothing, footwear and garment shops

• Print barcode labels (with MRP if you like) on A4 label sheets or a thermal label printer, then scan them at the counter. Label printing is on paid plans.
• Give a discount on any line of the bill.
• For a return, make a sales return (credit note) against the original bill, choose a reason, put the item back in stock, and either refund the money or keep it as customer credit for future bills. For an exchange, make the credit note and then a new bill.
• On a laptop or tablet screen, each bill line has an item note (for example size or colour) that prints under the item name.

Hardware, paint, sanitary and building material

• Choose a unit for each product: Pcs, Kg, Litre, Box, Dozen, Meter or Pair.
• Send a quotation to a contractor and convert it to a bill when the order is confirmed.
• Make customer groups such as Dealer or Contractor with their own rates or a flat % off; BizBahi applies the group rate when you pick that customer.
• Set a credit limit per customer. BizBahi warns you when a new udhaar bill would take them above it.
• Use a delivery challan when goods go out before the bill.

Mobile, electronics and computer shops

• Turn on serial / IMEI tracking for a product. Enter the IMEI or serial numbers when you buy; on a sale you pick or scan the exact unit, and BizBahi stops you from selling the same IMEI twice.
• The IMEI / serial numbers print on the bill, and the serial lookup screen shows who bought a unit, on which bill and date.
• Set warranty months on a product to see whether a sold unit is still under warranty (paid plans).
• Bill repairs and labour as a service item with a SAC code; services never touch your stock.

Restaurants, cafes and sweet shops

You can use BizBahi for quick counter bills: add menu items as products (or as service items), set the GST rate that applies to you, and print a thermal receipt with a UPI QR. GST rates for restaurant service depend on the type of restaurant, so confirm yours with your CA.

BizBahi is not restaurant software. It has no KOT (kitchen order ticket), no table management, no kitchen printer routing and no add-on/modifier menu. If you run a dine-in restaurant with tables, a dedicated restaurant POS will suit you better.

Wholesalers, distributors and service businesses

Wholesalers get price lists per customer group, credit limits, delivery challans and sales orders. On paid plans and the 7-day trial BizBahi exports e-way bill and e-Invoice JSON for upload on the government portals (e-way bill JSON guide); it does not create the IRN by itself.

Service businesses such as repair centres, tailors or consultants can bill service items with SAC codes, and keep udhaar and reminders the same way as a shop.

How to set up BizBahi for your shop

1. Download the app from the official download page and sign in.
2. Fill Settings → Business: name, address, state and GSTIN (leave GSTIN empty if you are not registered; your bills will then be titled Bill of Supply).
3. Add products with selling price, GST %, HSN and unit. Turn on batch tracking (medicines) or serial / IMEI tracking (mobiles, electronics) only for the products that need it.
4. Pick an invoice design and printer size, add your UPI ID, and make your first bill.

Can one shop use BizBahi for different kinds of products?

Yes. Batch and expiry, serial / IMEI and service items are set per product, so one shop can sell medicines with batches, mobiles with IMEI and repairs as services from the same app.

Is BizBahi good for a medical store?

For a small or medium medical store, yes: it tracks batch, mfg and expiry dates, picks the nearest-expiry batch on a sale and blocks expired batches. It does not search by salt or keep a Schedule H register, so check whether you need those.

Does BizBahi track IMEI numbers?

Yes. Turn on serial / IMEI tracking for a product. Each unit is entered on purchase, picked or scanned on the sale, printed on the bill, and can be looked up later with its bill and customer.

Can I use BizBahi for a restaurant?

For simple counter bills with GST and thermal receipts, yes. It has no KOT, table management or kitchen printing, so a dine-in restaurant may need a restaurant POS.

Does BizBahi support size and colour variants for clothes?

Not as a variant grid. Add each size or colour as its own product with its own barcode if you need separate stock, or write the size or colour in the item note on the bill.
